Shooting With Jess

Last month I got together to shoot with a dear friend of mine Jessica Hansen. She has been a great mentor for me since I started doing photography and we had a lot of fun shooting with Kylee being our model. At the end she made me get in some too and I am so glad she did. I will cherish these pictures forever. I love my sis so much and so grateful to have her as my best friend.

Halloween

I was a little unsure if Tatum grasp the whole concept of trick or treating this year. She was still pretty young but we thought we'd give it a try and she absolutely loved it. We went up to the first house and she got a piece of candy and so she kept trying to go back to the first house until she realized that ALL of the houses were giving out candy haha. She would just carry her bucket from door to door giggling the whole entire way. And at each house she would say Trick or Treat which sounded more like "Treeaaat?", pick one candy, then put it back, then grab another, and then say Thank You. She'd actually take as many as the person would let her-- she even tried to take the whole bowl at one house. It was such a fun night with our little kitty cat.

Family Pictures 2014

Here are some family pictures we took one weekend in Layton. I feel like since I take pictures of other people all the time that I am sick of them by the time it's time to do our family pictures. It's also hard to get Tatum to sit still long enough for any pictures, so this was as good as it was gonna get. I'm thinking next year we'll pay someone else to take them. :)

Tatum's First Birthday Party

Tatum totally enjoyed the cake smash. She didn't really eat much of it but had a ball smashing it and pushing it off of her high chair! It was a perfect day celebrating our sweethearts first year of life.

One Year Old

This was my sad attempt at taking Tatum's one year pictures. She was just so so busy and going everywhere that it was hard to get much. But I can't believe my baby is one already. This past year has flown by. She is such a social butterfly, loves being around people, and is very outgoing. She always keeps me on my toes and requires a lot of attention haha, but I have loved this stage so much. She's already a very determined little person and I can't wait to see her personality grow even more. Here are a few favorites from her book:

"Everyone always calls you flappy bird because you are always flapping your arms."

"You have always been such a sensitive little thing. Like today dad blew his nose and you started crying."

First Smile: Around 6 weeks

Started Laughing: 3 mo.

Sitting on your own: 5 mo.

Started Clapping: 7 mo.

Can find your binky and put it in yourself: 7 mo. 

From sitting to stomach: 8 mo.

Feed yourself finger foods: 8 1/2 mo.

Started dancing to music: 9 mo. 

Army crawl: 9 mo.

Wave: 9 mo.

From laying to sitting: 10 mo.

Crawling: 10 1/2 mo.

First tooth: 10 1/2 mo.

First Word: 12 mo. (Hi)
